As far back as he can remember, music has always been a big part of his life. Jody discovered his love for dance music at an early age. You would find him at the skating rink or teen club soaking up the grooves. By his mid twenties, Jody began collecting his favorite songs on vinyl. As his collection grew, so did his passion for the music. Then in July of 1996, Jody mixed his first 2 records together. At that moment he knew right away what he wanted to do.

After honing his skills for a few more years, he began seeking a residency in a city that was quickly becoming an emerging dance music mecca. May of 2000, Jody left his home in Tampa and made his way down south to Miami. He began playing at clubs such as Level, Space, and, State. His progressive tribal rhythms are second to none. Jody has played along side people such as John Digweed and Danny Tenaglia. Between his silky smooth mixing and great selection of music, he is truly a delight to dance to and he will keep you begging for more.

Not only has Jody has positioned himself in the underground dance scene as a DJ, but as well as a Producer. March of 2002, Distant Drum Recordings, was launched with the dance floor monster Spread Love and Believe, which has gotten major support from Victor Calderone, Peter Rauhofer, and Tom Stephens. Jody worked with club icon Alan T for his second release, Summing up the People, which has been rocking dance floors all across the globe. His new releases Yamie Coxx And the Musik on Distant Drum Recordings and Pleasure Remixes on Grooveman Music, have been getting heavy rotation from Palash, Steve Lawler, and Danny Tenaglia. Jody was contacted by Steve Lawler to do some remix work for Harlem Recordings and lets not forget about Star 69 Records licensing Biruta, featuring Julio Torres, for the Armani Exchange mixed compilation, Chemistry, which hit the retail market December of 2004. His upcoming releases include collaborations with The Undah-Dub, Pete Rage, and Palash.

With various local club dates and appearances in Australia, Canada & South America, Jody is already taking it to the next level. Keep a look out for this talented DJ and Producer.
