Influenced by Latin rhythms of salsa and meringue, and his fathers obsession with tango, Diego started flirting with hip-hop sounds to create a Latin electronic mixture. At the age of fourteen, Diego lays his ears on House Music which instantly touches his soul.
After participating in local raves where the main stream was Techno and House music, he started producing. His first unsigned track was featured on local radios in Colombia, reached the top chart to no.1 for almost a month. During the course of the following years, Diego decided to pursue his career under the alias Groove Man. He is now considered to be one of the best producers in Colombia, founder of a new style of Latin fusion, an evolution to House Music.
