With only 26 years of age, Jason Bralli is one of the most renowned Brazilian DJs and producers, having quickly established his name in the last years. The best proof of this are the CDs, vinyl singles and even DVD that he ahs released.
Jason started to play in 1991. However, his big break happened in 1996 when he was made resident of club BASE in Sao Paulo, then the hottest club in Brazil.
Jason has played alongside many a famous international DJ including: John Digweed, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten, Lee Burridge, Danny tenaglia, Steve Lawer, Sander Kleinenberg, Deep Dish, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Antony Papa, Bushwacka, Christopher Lawrence, Chris Liberator, Tall Paul, Dave Angel, Kevin Saunderson, Junior Sanches, K-klass, Robert Miles, David Holmes, Marcelo Castelli, Aj Gibson, Slacker among many others.
In 1997, he mixed club BASE first compilation which went on to sell 30,000 copies, an extraordinary figure considering that dance music was still quite underground in the country at the time.
In 1998, he released the Album “Influencias Collection”, through his own label Bralli Records, a partnership with DJ and friend Ramilson Maia.
“Jason Bralli 2000” came two years later, and was the DJs first solo album. It introduced a more melodic approach without losing the strong groove. His most historical release however came a bit later, in the same year. The single “Jason Bralli Presents: Gotik & Isso da Samba” was an instant hit, played by Brazilian DJs across the board and a massive radio success. It was even played on TV shows. The track was included in several compilations and albums, after being negotiated and licensed to the Building label. In total, more than 10 CDs included “Gotik” in their selection, selling a total 100,000 copies.
In 2002, besides playing up and down the country, Jason devoted increasingly more time to producing his own music.
In the studio, he worked with celebrated Brazilian pop singer Rogerio Flausino which resulted in the brilliant track “Because of Your Love”, which will feature exclusively in Jason next CD. He also worked with famous Brazilian singer Vinny.
His latest release was the single “Music”, a collaboration with fellow DJ/producer Julio Torres (who has released on Scottish labels Bellboy and Hook) and singer Michelly. The track has been played extensively on Brazilian dancefloors and dance radios. It was licensed by Universal Brazilian subsidiary FNM and will feature in the CD “Parada da Paz 2002”
