Born as Bridgett Hardville, Dj Jane Dupree began djing in 1999. Ms. Dupree’s desire to spread the gospel of house music pushed her to begin mixing and House Nation was born. House Nation began broadcasting every week on WMTS 88.3fm.
As House Nation grew, Jane quickly became a local favorite. Her popularity put her in high demand at local and regional parties. By 2000 House Nation, received a prime time radio slot and a huge following. After House Nation, Jane Dupree quickly established herself playing everywhere from Knoxville, TN, Memphis, TN Nashville, TN Louisville, KY And Miami, FL. Spinning with the likes of international artist and djs: Bad Boy Bill, Aaron Ochoa, Charles Feelgood, Do (of dj Sammy), BT, Ashley Powers, Terry Grant,Circuit Breaker,Karl Amari, and Richard “humpty” Vision.
Jane Dupree was recently voted Nashville’s #3 DJ by ‘the Church Street Freedom Press’ Stand Out Awards. She was also a 2005 Southern Entertainment Award nominee for “best house mix”
