James has been DJing professionally for 5 years.
Starting out as a payroll DJ for the University of Warwick Students’ Unions, he has gone on to perform in venues (and tents!) across the country.
James is currently the promoter and resident for ‘dancetillyoudie’ at The Good Ship in Kilburn, London, a bands and indie/alternative club showcase that looks to break new and unsigned bands, as well as showcase some signed acts. He also fullfils one-off dates in Coventry, Cambridge, and London, spanning genres including house, electro, indie, old skool, funk, soul, breakbeat and pop.
He has DJed with the likes of; Erol Alkan, Tim Deluxe, Layo and Buskwacka!, Fedde Le Grand, Supergrass, The Shapeshifers, Jon Carter, The Sugababes, Steve Angello and Marshall Jefferson, and has played at numerous club tours, including the Pacha tour with Craig Jensen (at Warwick).
James is confident at DJing across a wide range of different genres, though he admits his first (and probably last!) love is House, Electro-clash, Indie and Electro – the dirtier the better!
