Ian Booth is a name that has become synonymous with the tougher edge of the Trance spectrum, since his debut release “Groove On” and a string of remixes in 2008 that have cemented his style as tough and techy Trance music. Ian then went on to release tracks with Discover records, after his sound caught the attention of the main man, John Askew. His dark, yet energetic sound seemed to go hand in hand with the music policy of the Discover sub-labels (Discover Dark, Discover White label).
Supporters of his music are some tech-trance’s most respected djs, e.g. John ’O Callaghan, Simon Patterson, John Askew, Mark Sherry, Indecent Noise, Jordan Suckley, Paul Webster…etc.
As a dj Ian has forged a reputation in Ireland for playing energetic sets, that aren’t just the typical tunes of the day. Ian has played events up and down the country and even occasional gigs abroad over the years, sharing the bill with some huge names, such as Judge Jules, Scot Project and Simon Patterson.
Ian always aims to deliver a unique experience to the clubber, with his dj sets and strives to stand out on the night, for all the right reasons.
