From there Hac packed his bags and moved on to Chicago where he took a brief two year hiatus before returning to the decks. He re-emerged with a distinctive musical style – fusing his previous West Coast experience with the local Chicago House and Techno scenes. Known for his contrast of light and dark emotive soundscapes, Hac has captivated crowds across the country with his energetic, chunky, throbbing beats, performing in Chicago (Crobar, Transit, RedNoFive), Los Angeles, Milwaukee and Mexico with some of the best talent in the industry such as John Digweed, Moshic, BT, The Crystal Method, Taylor, Sandra Collins, Paul Van Dyk, Deep Dish, Pako & Frederik, Hector Romero, James Zabiela, Kazell and Hernan Cattaneo.

In 2000, Hac helped launch Global Trip, a promotions company based in Mexico, with his long time friend Leonardo Gomez, whose goal was to bring the underground music scene and culture they experienced in Chicago to Mexico. Together they have done shows in Mexico City, Cancun, Acapulco, Monterrey, Leon, Ciudad Juarez, Merida and Queretaro bringing in top talents such as Deep Dish, Lee Burridge, Dmitri From Paris, Hernan Cattaneo, Taylor, Pako & Frederik, Phil Thompson, Trendroid, Miguel Migs, Lisa Shaw, Kazell, Moshic, and upcoming talents such as Sattva, John Patterson, Caliendo, Sasha Navarro, Chris Walsh, Wale and Tyrel Williams. Hac continues to serve as a resident and consultant for Global Trip, hoping to continually bring in fresh underground sounds from all over the world to Mexico while supporting its local scene.

Hac has also joined up with Sattva of Biogenesis (Xplosion Records / Nepol Records) to form Kyaro whose goals is to produce and remix tracks with a funky fusion of progressive and techy sounds and structure. They are currently working on a few remix projects and original productions. Kyaro is also quickly gaining critical acclaim for their energetic tag team DJ sets and their 2×4 (2 mixers and 4 turntables) DJ set performance.

Recently, Hac was recognized by one of the top DJs in the world. His mix was hand picked by John Digweed out of over 1,800 entries as the winner of FutureMusic’s Next Big Thing DJ contest. John Digweed was so enamored by Hac’s winning entry that he decided to feature the mix on an episode of his internationally syndicated Kiss 100 radio show. Hac was also flown out to Denver to open for John Digweed’s and Desyn Masiello’s Endless Summer Tour at the world famous venue, The Church. The media exposure has catapulted Hac’s name and sound onto an even larger international stage.

As a resident for Global Trip, Mexico- he is set to open up for some of the best talent in the industry. On the domestic front, Hac has formed Play Co., a collective of like-minded artists, DJs and producers to promote the local underground scene.
