Since the 1990’s Geosphere has been a dedicated DJ, promoter and producer of underground
electronic music and culture. A mainstay in Western Canada’s Techno music and rave family.
After an incredible introduction to Calgary’s old school underground music community and an
early obsession collecting vinyl records, Geo began mixing Deep House, Minimal and Ambient.
Over the years his sounds have progressed, incorporating various styles of House, Techno and
Drum and Bass. Techno has been Geo’s passion and focus for most of his journey. In 1998 he
started throwing independent and underground dance parties and events as Envirotribe Productions
now known as Nocturnal Symptoms in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Through the course of his journey he has headlined, held down residence and performed across
Canada and into the USA alongside some of the most respected names in the industry.
He has played at many notable events, festivals and venues such as Connect, Shambhala, MEMETIC,
Motion Notion, Earthdance, Brian Eno’s 77 Million Paintings exhibition tour, The Glenbow Museum,
The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and AEMCON Alberta Electronic Music Conference.
He has been billed along side the likes of Infected Mushroom, Akufen, John Tejada, Deko-ze, DJ Dan,
John 00 Fleming, Crystal Method, Eddie Santini, Optical, Ace Ventura, Mr. C, Mat The Alien, Jay Haze,
Nick Thayer, Father Funk, Desert Dwellers, Dieselboy, Joane Cardinal-Schubert and Kent Monkman.
In 2006 Adam began working with Ableton Live, keyboards and midi controllers and started creating his
own music and Live-PA sets. The following year, he formed the Calgary based electronic music trio band
“Blulife” with Canadian vocalist Emma Aurchid and UK music producer Nicholas Reark.
Known for his trippy, tribal and hypnotic sound, Geosphere will take your mind, body and soul on a
journey deep into underground electronic music environments. Peace. Love. Unity. Respect.
“Creation is eternal, always evolving and always changing. It’s beautiful.” -Adam Geosphere
