He is one of the most respected Techno DJs – producers and organizers in Greece. George Apergis began his music career as a Hip-Hop DJ in the early 90s and later as a Techno dj & organizer under the name of Modular Expansion Events.
His latest release is “Quelle” for Sabotage records, he also released several tracks with labels like Omega Audio, F2 Recordings and unGleich records. He released 3 cd compilations with worldwide artists at Freeze mgzn. In 2008, Apergis released a mini album “Remember” including a Dave Tarrida remix with In Fact records. Later a collaboration with Christian Cambas followed including 2 releases at Bellboy & Audio Therapy records. George has been focusing on collaborative efforts producing remixes for Videogame Orchestra on “Robot Flense” with Treble Death System records and De Vox on “Bring It Again” with Housevisions records.
He’s also known as a member of Athens Voice newspaper & Soul magazine and as a journalist in several magazines like Sound Maker, Oxy, Partysan, Freeze, Lemon, Fast Forward where he promotes Techno in Greece.
As an organizer and a dj he has played along side Carl Cox, Chris Cowie, Funk D Void, Dave Tarrida, Alexander Kowalski, Adam Beyer, dj Rolando, Darren Price,Pacou, Substance, Vainqueur, Sender Berlin etc. He has already played in famous European clubs such as Tresor in Berlin, Moog and Macarena in Barcelona, Luzztro in Warsaw and Gorod, Neo, Open Kafe, Severnoe Depo, Atoll in Moscow and in the most famous clubs and festivals in Greece.
He continues to be one the most renown quality djs who continues to play with vinyl. His sound is dependant and is a mixture of minimal deep techno & techhouse and of course 80s and 90s classic vinyls, always under his unique mixture.
