At 19 years old, it was obvious that Jason Guillory had a knack for mixing beats, but it wasnt until a few years ago that the industry began to take notice, coining him as San Diegos one-and-only, DJ G*Roy. As one of the leading house and hip-hop turntablists in Southern California, G*Roy has built himself quite the resume. As the official DJ of Rusty Clothing, G*Roy has acquired residencies at San Diegos finest nightlife destinations including Stingaree, Confidential and Sidebar; been named Editors Choice and Best DJ To Watch Out For in the 2005 and 2006 944 Magazine Platinum Awards, respectively; produced a late-night radio show every Saturday on San Diegos Channels 93.3; and worked with some of the largest DJ masterminds in the world including Tiesto, DJ AM, Mix Master Mike, Ferry Corsten, Charles Feelgood, Bad Boy Bill, Donald Glaude, DJ Dan and Grandmaster Flash. Over the course of the past six years, G*Roy has blessed audiences at ICE, Drais, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Pool and MGM Grand in Las Vegas; Myst in Phoenix; and Joya in Los Angeles while spinning at the Maxim Superbowl Party in 2003, the Miami Winter Music Conference 2004-2006 and the Las Vegas Music Conference in 2006. With six albums under his belt, G*Roy most recently joined forces with Jason Herrick of Fortune Clothing to launch Fortune Music a record label honing the productions of Donald Glaude, Charles Feelgood and Scotty Boy.
