Back in 1987 at the early age of 16, Frenchy fell in love with the House music sound listening to it almost every weekend on the radio and in the nightclubs throughout Chicago where he grew up. Some of his early influences were Mike Hitman Wilson, Bad Boy Bill, Farley Jackmaster Funk, and of course Frankie Knuckles.
In 1993 Frenchy moved to LasVegas were he met local DJ’ Speedy and Robert Oleysyck who eventually influenced Frenchy to start mixing records. After Vegas, in 1995 Frenchy moved to England were he started his first residency at club night, Let There Be Sound. He played alongside guest DJ’ from all over Europe, including world renowned DJ’ from the Ministry of Sound, Hard Times and Back to Basics. In 1998 Frenchy moved to Brighton(England) were he soon began to DJ his House/Tech-House sound all over the London and south coast at club nights such as Stompaphunk, Positive Sounds and Fluid Groove.
In addition to Vegas and England, Frenchy’ mixing talents have brought him to such destinations as Phoenix AZ, Chicago IL and LosAngles CA, playing alongside world known DJ’-Dan, Heather, Mark Grant and Evil Eddie Richards.
Now at the age of 30, Frenchy is currently residing back in Vegas playing at clubs and events through out the west coast. Frenchy’ future plans are to start Vegas based FREMONT RECORDINGS coming out with it’ first release in early 2002 with production/label partner DJ-Speedy.
After 8 years of DJ’ing and working alongside the worlds greatest dance music talent, Frenchy has developed a versatile House/Tech-House sound which combined with his experience of reading the crowd means he is certain to Rock It at any club or event.
