Biography
i started in 1984 at the age of 11 yrs. old i was listening to Chicago’s 1st radio station with live djs “WBMX” with the best dj’s in history “THE HOT MIX 5” thats where i heard history’s only real dj legend “BAD BOY BILL” and yes none of the digital djs today will ever be legends in the dj game there is only 1 and his name is “BBB”. from that day on i knew what i wanted to do. i grew up in a rough part of chicago “HUMBOLT PARK” and i wanted to be different so i became a dj. i started doing back yard parties and by the time i turned 17 i was the youngest dj to be in the 21+ night clubs in the city. places like “THE CHINA CLUB, KABOOMS, LAS VEGAS, MOTHERS” just to name a few. at this time i was called “TITO 2 HYPE SANTANA” and in the early 90’s i got a chance to guest dj on a chicago radio station called “THE KILLER B96” i got a chance to spin for 1 of the major events side by side with my brother “DJ FLIK” my career took of from there. i joined a crew called “CRAZY CREW” as there head liner dj but my name was to long for there flyers………lol……. well a former member out of the blue said “i look like fozzy the bear” and from there the name “DJ FOZZY” was born. now at the tender age of 41 my name is still all over chicago. i may never be a legend but i will always be respected.
