There are many questions about the myth of the disk jockey known simply as Forsaken, we are here today to separate the cold hard facts from the wife’ tales and off the wall anecdotes.
It all started on a surprisingly cold summer day in the quaint village of Tucson, AZ. Two teenagers were wandering on a downtown path and noticed a sign that read “Subvox”. Did they dare enter this gloomy record Shoppe??? They did. While one of the teenagers gasped in the amazement of the recorded music, the other simply uttered, “whatever”.
It has been over three years since these two youngsters had their encounter. One recalls, “When I listened to the records I put on the turntable, I realized to myself, I could do this, I could become a Disk Jockey”. The other simply said, “its cool”.
One of those young men continued to purchase records, he had an unexplainable desire to become a disk jockey. The other continued to be as difficult to impress as a 60 year old circus midget.
“I cant explain why I am buying these records” said the young man,“I just do”.
Years passed and the young man started playing his records at strange all night events and recording his music on to high fidelity cassette tapes. He was always working for the next gig, not knowing why he wanted it so bad, he just did.
Now some may think this is overwhelming proof that disk jockeys exist, others still have their doubts. An old man explains,“Djs now a-days, alls they do is put the headphones on and move they’re records across the needle, Why back in my day we used to have to walk 30 miles in 120 degree heat only to have to walk back in the snow with no shoes on…..” He seemed to wander off after a while and started not to make since.
There you have it folks, the true encounters of a young man and his life changing experience. Now I urge you not to make any assumptions. You should always look for yourselves and ask one question……Are aliens among us?…I mean
ARE DISK JOCKEYS AMONG US???
*please note all quotes and events are fictitious, no disk jockeys were hurt in the creating of this parody, And oh yeah, Forsaken is a hardcore dj from Tucson, AZ. He has been playing since July of 1998. He also produces his own music and you should book him, NOW!!!
