Biography

DJ Femme Fatale first came to fame at the turn of the Millennium – launching herself onto the scene with a residency at Londons landmark Ministry of Sound nightclub. Along with her own weekly show on Ministry of Sound TV – alongside legendary Radio 1 DJs Pete Tong and Zane Lowe.

It was this high profile start in the industry that got her noticed by BBC Radio 1, where she enjoyed several guest slots before being given her own show on BBC 1xtra when it was launched in 2002.

Femme’s high profile credibility and raw musical talent has seen her travel the globe to play at some of the best and most exclusive parties and nightclubs in the world from Hong Kong to Hawaii, Bermuda to Bahrain, Moscow to Munich and here in London at the legendary DTPM at Fabric, in Ibiza at the world famous Space Terrace and even at Glastonbury festival. Femme has also played at some large-scale events such as The Monte Carlo Grand Prix, Stella McCartney Perfume Launch, The Professional Footballer’s Awards and The UK Clothes Show.

Recognition of DJ Femme Fatale’s success has come in the form of several industry awards, the most prestigious being “Best Female DJ” at the UK People’s Choice Awards and “Best Radio/Club DJ” at the UMAs. She’s also strongly supported by music industry tastemakers and cohorts alike. For example, she was nominated ‘Best DJ’ by a panel of record industry professionals on ‘Underground’, BB3’s music show presented by Trevor Nelson. Additionally, with her talent, broad-appeal and good looks to boot, DJ Femme Fatale has enjoyed positive feature coverage in main- stream and specialist dance press alike from: the Daily Mail, Marie Claire, Esquire, Maxim, Mixmag, as well Italy’s La Republica.
