Tim Hite, a.k.a. DJ FahrenHITE, was born in a small Central Illinois town with a population of less than 2,000. Despite a small town childhood, he always had big city dreams. He started his career with club design and lighting; slowly making the transition to the DJ world as his ears learned of the power that music possessed and the way it could almost magically move the crowds.
Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bradley University, DJ FahrenHITE has always had a way with technology, so it should come as no surprise he’s quickly mastered the digital DJ world and decks alike. His tools of the trade are a Numark NS7FX controlled via a Macbook Pro with Serato Itch. Technics SL-1200MK5’s and Pioneer CDJ 2000’s round-out his studio and enable him to utilize various formats to add harmony to any mix. His music collection includes almost every genre and you will often find his mixes integrate this selection quite smoothly.
While still fairly new in the DJ world, DJ FahrenHITE has already infiltrated the local fests and charity events throughout Chicago. His beats can be heard during Pride Fest, a two-day street fair with over 500,000 in attendance annually, to Market Days – the Midwest’s largest street festival. You can also find him spinning at large gala’s such as the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Annual Gala and even on the Magnificent Mile at Armani Exchange as a regular performer.
While he has no intentions of becoming a resident club DJ, he often dreams of following in the steps of talents like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren and David Guetta. Until that time comes, rest assured he’ll be bringing you the best mixes his abilities will provide.
