New Zealand’s new queen of house, Erika Amoore is one of the city’s most in demand DJs for an unforgettable club night. With her signature mix of house, tech house and disco, the Blonde bombshell has quickly carved out a name for herself in the New Zealand house scene.
Erika holds residencies at Auckland’s Spy Bar, Soul Bar and Chapel amongst others and has played gigs for Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Highlife and Club Luxury.
With over a decade of classical music experience under her belt, Erika has begun releasing her own productions, which are a fusion of classic style house and big room tech house. Her first release, “Sometimes” was quickly picked up by Junk Funk Recordings, gaining her the support of house heavy weights Jerome Robins, Alaia & Gallo, and others. ‘Sometimes’ has also featured on compilation releases by Recovery House and Re:vibe Music.
2015 is set to be a big year for this young DJ and up-and-coming producer. Her next track, an official remix of “Space Disco” by The Bronx Cheer and DJ Roland Clarke, set to be released by InStereo later this year, and a two track EP is also eminent, making her one to watch over the coming year.
