About Eric Tadla (DJ Sonar): Poland native and expert pianist, Eric Tadla, DJ Sonar, has been involved with music since age 5. Tadla’s musical gift was discovered by one of his instructors when he started playing piano with no formal training in kindergarten. From that point on Tadla developed deeper into his passion of music through composing and mastering the timeless classical music. At the age of 13 Eric moved to America. From classical he progressed to other forms of music particularly jazz. In college Tadla performed in the jazz band while studying music education, making his own versions of the traditional compositions then moving on to electronic music. His first introduction to electronic music was the music of Jean Michel Jarre who continues to influence many of his compositions. Knowing his heart was always in performance and composition, he left his teaching position and met Boyer and the rest is history. Recently after teaming up with Boyer, Eric started to focus more on the production aspect of the industry in the electronic/progressive trance genre. He continually analyzes the works of all today’s big names like Paul Van Dyke, BT, Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden, and incorporates the elements into a hybrid of what is becoming the new sound of future trance music.
