Biography

Electrokid is no stranger to rocking parties. On New Years eve of 1997 he started his nonstop exploration of electronic music by attending his first large scale warehouse party in Portland, Oregon. Shortly after in October of 1998 he went in on a pair of Technics with Virus! Breaks founder Smokeshell and quickly began playing house parties. In September of 1999 he enjoyed his first real booking at an event put on by Hyve Productions in Salem, Oregon. Hundreds of bookings later he is now considered one of Oregon’s top breakbeat djs.

On top of a steady stream of appearances at clubs and parties, Electrokid has released an onslaught of mix cds boasting the super fresh sounds of many forms and styles of breakbeats. Thousands of cds have made their way across the Northwest as a result of his skills and incredible taste for the most cutting edge sounds. In light of this, its no wonder why he is the most sought after breaks dj in Oregon.
