Biography

Venezuelan-born Eduardo Javith, landed his first gig at the age of 16, working as a DJ at his older brother’s nightclub. The 80’s decade was drawing to a close and contemporary bands like Depeche Mode and New Order numbered among his biggest musical influences.

Javith turned pro in the mid 90’s, obtaining his broadcast license and working as a DJ at a Venezuelan radio station while finishing his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Thus began his longstanding association with the nationwide radio network LA MEGA (Unión Radio), which continues to this day.

1997 marked the beginning of a new phase in Javith’s career: producer of HOUSE and TECHNO tracks for labels such as TOTAL MUSIC DISTRIBUTORS of Caracas-Venezuela and Fort Lauderdale-U.S.A. Since then his themes have been included on CDs from Venezuela, Colombia, Spain and the U.S.

Today Javith is dedicated exclusively to HOUSE music (Tribal, Progressive and Tec), and has just founded his own record label, “IN PROGRESO RECORDS”.

As a DJ he has shared the stage with such luminaries of the HOUSE, TECHOUSE, TRANCE, and TECHNO scenes as: MAURO PICOTTO (Italy); MINISTRY OF SOUND (Nescafé Global Tour/rumbacaracas.com) with the Djs ANDY MORRIS – Narcotic Thrust / Petrae Foy (Garlands-UK); DAVE THE DRUMMER, CHRIS LIBERATOR, AARON LIBERATOR, DJ ANT y RACHELL RAKIT (UK); DYLANIOUS FONQUE, JAZIAH y MAARTEN (Holland); DJ THALIA (France); IVANO BELLINI (SFP Records), JOHN FERRARI, WENDALL y SIMON (U.S.A.); DJ MYSTICK, JAY WAY (COLOMBIA); DJ Toshiro – Colombia; DJ Dorian – Chile
