Atlanta is known in the Music Industry as being ahead of the curve in regards to music trends, but what about talent output?
Halogen, taking the southeast EDM scene by storm. Formally known as Dunsker, AKA Alex Dunsker and Para11 AKA Josh Taylor, the duo met by chance through mutual parties and have hit the atmosphere in regards to musical production and prowess. As the main opener for the legendary Knife Party back in March of 2013, growth as been exponential. Playing along side EDM superstars like Flux Pavilion, Adventure Club, Zeds Dead, Nero and at some of the southeast’s largest music festivals, the sky is the limit.
“Bass Music”, their energetic sets ranging from heavy electro, to progressive house to remix’s that catch the crowd by surprise, there’s a reason why EDM lovers and festival goers have one name in mind while leaving the gates to the biggest events in Georgia. Musical inspirations range from Hardwell, to Knife Party and even Hans Zimmer known for his music productions on the big screen.
Halogen’s EP titled “Valence Bond Theory” is planned for release in Fall of 2013.
