Dismantled is the sole product of Gary Zon whose unique blend of electro industrial has crossed boundaries, meshing everything from the pop of Paula Abdul to the grind of Nine Inch Nails into a sonic attack like no other. The band’s quick critical acclaim from fans and reviewers alike has found them a home on Metropolis Records in the US and Dependent Records in Europe, spanning a decade long journey of releases starting from 2001 with the self-titled album and continuing into 2011.
The latest album effort, called “The War Inside Me” is the first one to earn a parental advisory sticker for its dysfunctional message about the world we live in with a nightmarish assault on the senses that bears more resemblance to the rock edge of Marilyn Manson than the EBM influences that originally inspired the band in the beginning. However, there’s no denying that it is still the sound that long-time fans will recognize as the band’s early industrial influences are still apparent. After playing festivals like Wave Gothic Trefen in Leipzig, Germany and shows with the likes of Skinny Puppy, Combichrist, Psyclon Nine and Imperative Reaction the band’s visceral and intense performance continue to impress audiences across the world with the live lineup of Gary Zon on vocals, Jon Siren on the live drums and TZA on live keyboards.
