Andrew Boschman aka dj daydreamer grew up in a small town of 900 people, called MacGregor in the middle of Manitoba. From a little kid he loved electronica music but didn’t know what it was, until he met a friend of his.
When Andrew was 13 he was introduced to techno music. At the age of 15 he met his cousin Joe Lesac (dj zelous) at a family reunion, and found out that he produced trance. Amazed by his cousin’s ability, Andrew wanted to know how Joe did it. Joe explained to him the complexity, and the time to make each track. After the family reunion Andrew got a parcel in the mail, it was from Joe. Inside the parcel was computer program called “sony’s acid style”. Andrew started to learn the program and slowly started to produce music.
With Andrew’s love for electronica music and growing up in a little town, Andrew often got bullied for being “different” through out junior high, and high school.
Andrew was 17 when got his hands on a copy of “fruity loops studios”. That’s when his love to produce music really jump started.
Andrew is now 19 with about 8 tracks made that have been enjoyed by listeners around the globe. Among being a full time cook Andrew has a side project with a buddy of his called Pen&Ink, and hopes to launch their first single sometime in 2009. Andrew is also the head Dj in a night club in fort Mcmurray Alberta called “Diggers”.
