Danny Chase has been DJing since the early 90s. He’s clocked up more than 20 years of experience DJing at some of the best clubs in the UK and around the world, including The Ministry of Sound, The Met, Cream, The Mansion House, The Zap Club, Audio, Ocean Rooms, The Mixmag Tour and many many more, as well as organising his own brand of outdoor festivals and club nights.
Taking a music technology course has given Danny an understanding of mixing and audio production, and his technical ability shines through in his performances. His ability to read a crowd and his energetic persona can force even the tamest of dancefloors to erupt.
Danny’s chunky, driving tech house is a mainstay of one of Brighton’s best club nights, Tech-noir, which features regular guests such as Seb Fontaine, Paul Johnson, Timo Garcia, Steve Mac, Tim Cullen and the So Called Scumbags.
Danny also hosts the Tech-noir radio show on Brighton dance music radio station, Code South FM (www.codesouth.fm). The radio show – in which Danny combines old classics and new tech house – has been gathering up listeners all over the world, and its popularity is soaring
The last couple of years has seen Danny investing more time in the studio, resulting in releases on world class-labels such as Distinctive, Redbox and Brighton-based label Jeepers!.
Taking inspiration from the tech house sound – and using his knowledge of tech-house, techno, trance, progressive and all things house – Danny is the secret dancefloor weapon that can rock any party.
