“Originally from the sunny south part of France, Damien Kay started deejaying in 1999 after he saw his first DMC show live. He then started playing mostly hip hop, funk and disco and remain an unconditional fan of giant artists such as Quincy jones and Michael Jackson.
Damien Kay competed in few turntable competition and handled very quickly, the scratching, passpass and beat juggling that would soon become his trademark. However, in a different genre, Daft Punk’s releases “Homework” and “Discovery” would bring Damien Kay into the world of house music.
Kay’s throws the most energizing, “sparkling” music that he pushed a level up becoming Bar Rouge resident DJ (Shanghai, PRC). After four years refining his style, sharing the decks with superstars DJ Bob Sinclar, Digitalism, Marques Wyatt, and many others, Kay is about to release his first mix.
