Biography

Chris Nasty started his career in the world of music in 1996.

The journey from acclaimed dj to talented producer has been a swift one.

In 1998, under the name of Butcher & Son, he produced the Free My Soul E.P., an immediate floorfiller around the coolest clubs in Europe.

The unveil of the new Century is also the spark that pushes Chris and his mate Dj Bony to become a real production team thanks to the incredible success of the DJ X-2000 Project. The hit called Modem enjoyed a huge success around Europe, being licensed with the historical label Overdose, one of the greatest in the European dance landscape.

After some experiments and elaborations in year 2001 Chris Nasty and Dj Bony, wrote and produced the single “Ready 2 go!” under the name of Stagediverz and proposed it to the well known Italian label Expanded Music.

The hit has been immediately licensed in all five continents and became a sudden success climbing the most important charts in Asia, being also played in the “hottest” clubs of the region. “Ready 2 go” enjoyed great success, particularly in Japan, becoming a true Club Anthem!!!

During next years, Chris started a new project called “Butcher” producing the hit single “Don’t let the sun go down” who have been very well received from public and critics around Europe and Asia.

In 2005 he began another prestigious collaboration, this time with Graziano Pegoraro, a real true icon of 80’s and 90’s dance music. Pegoraro has been the author and producer of Tracy Spencer, Taffy, and Mato Grosso.

In 2007 Chris Nasty met the well known Italian house Dj, Nico Diluca playing together in the same club.

Working side by side, they discover a formidable formula and decided to join forces under another interesting project: Luxury Bureau. The first result of their collaboration was the successful electro house single called “that bull” released on Molto Recordings label. The latest effort coming out from this new partnership is the first Nico Diluca’s single entitled “If I could”.

Next Nasty’s anthem single was called “Dedicated to the People” and it becamea must have for radios and djs alla around the world.

In 2011 his single “when I grow up” was another big shot climbing the beatport top 20.
