Chief_MC is widely known as a DJ, producer and founder of both VIRUS Music and POSITIV music labels, as well as the JEANS DJ Parade 2005 winner.

His name has already become a brand. He and his music can be easily recognized by the European level of quality, fantastic sense of the crowd and perfect mixing skills. His sound is best described by expressions Progressive House, Progressive Breakz, Tech House and Tech Tribal.

Chief_MC bought his first record in 1992, when there were only a few people in Ukraine who really knew the true meaning of the word ‘DJ’. Having worked as a resident at top notch night clubs in Kiev, by 1999 Chief_MC together with famous promoter D. Felixov have risen an idea of launching the first ever club music record label in Ukraine, which was later called VIRUS Production. Today VIRUS is the one prominent player on the market, with more than 250 quality club music releases to be mentioned as an achievement. The company has released works of both Ukrainian and famous international dance music stars: DJ Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Erick Morillo, John Digweed, Eddie Halliwell, Darren Tate, Trentemoller and many many more.

In 1999 he sets his own production studio, where he’s been working at since. Then his track ‘Last Night’ (2003) gets massive rotation at national Kiss FM network’s Top-20. 2003 is the year when he started VIRUS Bookings – the first Ukrainian agency, providing artist management and booking of both Ukrainian and foreign DJs. Today VIRUS Bookings exclusively represents the following artists: Chief_MC, Slava Flash, Denis Dynamite, Kirill Doomski, Arseniy, Spartaque, TECHNOMAFIA (live). In 2003-2005 Chief_MC has hosted the monthly POSITIV night at the best Kiev’s OPIUM Dance Club. The list of his guests includes: Tarrentella & Redanka (UK), Omid 16B (UK), Lexicon Avenue (UK), John Graham aka Quivver, Anthony Pappa, James Holden, Dave Seaman, X-Press 2, Slacker, James Zabiela, Tilt [Live], Andy Moor, Behrouz, Oliver Klein, Gabriel & Dresden etc. The POSITIV project has been repeatedly featured in number of European publications, hence they admitted the ever growing image of Ukrainian club scene.

Chief_MC has won an award of the first Ukrainian interactive rating TopDJ in June 2005: 3rd place in ‘The best DJ’ nominee; 2nd place in ‘The best mix album’ (POSITIV) nominee; and 2nd place in ‘The best release’ (Last Night) nominee. Then, in August he becomes a winner at JEANS DJ Parade and thus is considered a national DJ champion. The next couple of years has also been successful for him: in 2006 he gets three prizes at TOPDJ Awards – 3rd place in ‘The best DJ’ nominee, 4th place in ‘The best mix album’ (Housemission II: Don’t stop!) nominee, 4th place in ‘The best radio show’ (POSITIV) nominee; and the year after there were two more – 5th place in ‘The best DJ’ nominee and 1st place in ‘The best radio show’ (POSITIV) nominee.

His touring geography has since hugely expanded, as he performed in UK, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Estonia and every big city in Ukraine. On repeated occasions Chief_MC shared the DJ booth with the electronic music legends Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta, Markus Schulz, James, Zabiela, Pete Tong, Mylo, Mark Knight, Martijn Ten Velden, Jerome Isma-Ae, Victor Calderone, Tim Deluxe, Tom Neville, Funkstar Deluxe, Lisa Loud, Justin Drake (Peace Division), Gabi Newman, David Gausa, Nils Noa to name a few. But he considers his sets with James Zabiela, John Graham aka Quivver and Redanka as very special ones.

As producer Chief_MC is mostly known for his several remixes produced for Ukrianian pop bands. Video clips for some of them got to the top positions at national charts of Ukrainian music channels O-TV, Biz-TV and M1. He has also taken part in the biggest indoor and open air events taking place in Ukraine: Totally in secret (1500-8000 people), Gathering Point (4000-12000 people),KaZantip 2005, Jeans DJ Parade 2005 (the winner), Jeans DJ Parade 2006 (as a special guest), GodsKitchen Urban Wave (up to 15000 people), Global Gathering Freedom Festival (up to 23000 people) and Global Gathering UK 2007.

Chief_MC states a performance at the Olympic Games as his most desirable dream. He believes that someday this will definitely happen. He usually dedicates free time to his beloved family and a number of hobbies, such as auto sport and tuning. He likes sushi, rum with cola and intelligent movies.
