Phyllis Wong alias DJ Chai’s unique sound and captivating live performances made her one of the most sought after female Texas DJs. With her genuine infectious personality and banging-hard disco-filtered house, she has charmed her way into the very competitive Dallas scene, delivering a groove you just cannot help but dance to. Although she got her start in Dallas she’s recently relocated to San Francisco. Her past accomplishments include residencies at The Sandbar, a club located in the Deep Ellum district of Dallas, Soul 2 Soul in the Lower Greenville area of Dallas, and numerous bookings at area events with other globally known artists. Some of these include East Coast Boogie Men, Dom and Roland, Reid Speed, Kid Icarus, The Disco Agents, Warp Brothers, John Kelley, CradleRock, Kung Fu Pimp, DJ RedEye, UFO, Eric Davenport, and Marco Giovanni. She has also made guest appearances on various radio shows including: EDGE Club on KDGE 102.1, the Edge, featuring DJ Merritt and guests, 89.1 KNON, basspressure, an internet radio show out of Dallas hosted by Agent L and Prajna, and The Rhythm Kitchen. Currently you can catch her throwing down sets on a weekly basis on Want It Radio an internet radio show hosted by live365 with other residents Mo Corleone and DJ Malloc.
