Brett King is a rising star on the southern California club scene. His stomping style of progressive house takes listeners on a voyage through a broad spectrum of concentrated bass driven sounds.
Brett currently holds a prestigious residency with Godskitchen USA, as well as with Traffic Events in Los Angeles. His refined mixing skills have allowed him to appear at an ever-increasing array of clubs and events such as Godskitchen @ The Henry Fonda Theater, Spundae @ Circus, UltraFest 2004 in Miami, Monday Social @ Las Palmas, The Mor, and The Viper Room. Brett has played alongside some of the most extraordinary DJs in the world,including Dave Seaman,Phil K,James Holden, Lee Burridge, Anthony Pappa, Ferry Corsten, Sandra Collins, and Jimmy Van M.
Brett has now added Proton Radio to his residency list.He has been given a new monthly show on the prestigious Internet radio station with his show “Imperial”. The show airs the 2nd Tuesday of every month on Proton radio from 12pm to 3pm (PST) / 3pm to 6pm (EST).
In addition Brett held a yearlong residency on Eccentricbeats.com with his highly successful weekly Internet radio show, “Evolution Fridays”. Appearing on
Evolution Fridays were outstanding guests including Chris Fortier, Donald Glaude, Andy Jarrod, Steve Porter, and Tom Stephan, amongst numerous other world class and local DJs.
Through his talents, Brett has worked in collaboration with the UK-based DJ mixer manufacturer Allen&Heath/Xone. He assisted them by debuting the innovative Xone: 92 mixer with live performances at the Winter NAMM Show 2004 in Anaheim, California.
Brett’s musical influences are RadioHead, Portishead, Tool, Massive Attack, and benchmark DJs Sasha, John Digweed and Steve Lawler. In his efforts to move and inspire his listeners, he continually searches for groundbreaking and unique tracks.
