Biography

Blinders are two talented brothers, who started producing music in their very young age. Starting with bootlegs and remixes, Blinders and their work became more and more recognizable on the clubbing scene in a very short time. Despite their young age, they already received many good feedback and support from top EDM producers from all around the world. Thanks to good collaborations and releases on well known record labels such as: Zouk Recordings (Armada Music), Flamingo Recordings, Strictly Rhythm or Pink Rabbit Records, Blinders are climbing higher and higher on electronic music charts.

2011 – Mateusz (born in 1992) and Michał (born in 1994) came up with an idea to create a musical duo in year 2008, but their real producing and DJing career started in 2011, when their productions skills caught other producers and record labels attention. That year, Blinders met a Polish producer Bream, who helped them to enter the EDM world. Three of them collaborated and it resulted in releases: “So High” (feat. Max C; number 1 on Polish radio charts), “New Life”, “You Could Be The One” (feat. Thomas Troelsen; released on Strictly Rhythm USA), which appeared on many prestigious compilations such as: “Amnesia Ibiza Essentials 2011”, “Pacha Ibiza Hits 2011 mixed by John Dahlback, “Amnesia Ibiza Dancefloor Hits 2011 mixed by David Vendetta”, “Pacha Ibiza – DJ Selection vol. 2”.

Blinders gained popularity after making a remix for Dirty South and Thomas Gold – “Alive”, which were supported by many famous DJs and climbed to the top of the Beatport Chart. Beatport also awarded “Alive” remix as the “Track Of The Day”.Later, in collaboration with Total Sound, Blinders released “Minoga”, which got to the top 40 of sales chart on Beatport (progressive tracks) and was announced as one of the ‘Must Hear Progressive House Tracks’.

2012 – this year Blinders started with a release of their first music video for “You Could Be The One”. In march they collaborated again with Bream and their track “The Doors” came out on Fedde Le Grands label – Flamingo Recordings. 2012 brought new contracts with new labels. Two brothers started working on a few remixes, which were later released on Zouk Recordings, the sublabel of Armada Music. After the THE ROAD TO UMF Poland Tour in June, Blinders locked down in the studio for a while. Their latest releases are: a track with Antillas “Top Of The World”, “Gipsy Sunshine” and a drum & bass remix for Canadian group DVBBS called “DRVGS”. Their recent works are getting more and more attention and good feedback from producers, DJs, musical critics, bloggers and EDM lovers.
