“You may have heard of him before. He gigs in the states as Kid Danger, and Black Dominoes is his nomme de remix. His first remix was Vampire Weekend’s “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa” and it somehow found its way onto the airwaves of NPR and the BBC.
Only a year in the business and he’s already shared live bills with Diplo, the Black Lips, DJ Klever, Flosstradamus, Explosions in the Sky, KRS-One, the Toxic Avenger, Man Man, and the Black Kids to name a few. He records with a busted old Toshiba laptop he bought with student-loan money. Everything gets fed through an old Gemini mixer and an old head amp that has some interesting effects on it, he also borrows sounds from the internet, rips stuff off of old vinyl, and use some old looping and effects pedals he and his roommates have lying around to help create sounds."
