2010 was a massive year for Ben Morris. It started with his second consecutive trip to Melbourne for the famed Sensation White to bring in the New Year. This was followed up on New Years day Warming up for Derrick Carter at the first Space NYD festival in Sydney. In January he played his fourth Big Day Out Boiler Room set, as well as his fourth Future Music Festival in March. Fast-forward to June and Ben Morris set off on an Asia tour including the world Famous Club Mass in Seoul. It was around the same time that Ben joined forces with Sydney DJ Venuto in the Studio. In October the pair released their Piano EP on One Love and it debuted in the Australian club chart at number 24 and rose as high as 18. The lead track ‘Give It Up’ has also been signed to the latest Swiss – Ministry of Sound Clubbers guide compilation. The pair have been hard at work on an arsenal of remixes including Men At Work’s – Down Under which is currently number 24 on the Club Chart. In 2011 Ben has worked on a collaboration track with Timmy Trumpet as well as remixing the latest big room anthem from Melbourne’s Feenixpawl on One Love (Both due out in the coming weeks). One Love have also asked Ben Morris along with Studio partner Venuto to mix the next House release in their series of compilations. Stay tuned for this and more original productions this year.
