Dj Baggi was born in Brcko Bosnia in the year 1979.In 1995 he moved to the Netherlands. Once in the Netherlands Baggi started to work at one of the hot spots in Rotterdam the Boot Barocca. Baggi heard dj’s play such as Jean, Erick E, Miss Monica, Mark v Dale and many many more.
From that moment on he got hooked to house music. Whenever there came a opportunity to fill in a vacancy at the boot Baggi was the first to come up and play. Because of his good performance he obtained his own Sunday night and he was the first to be called whenever a dj did not show up.
After a while the management of the boot Barocca obtained a new location in the middle of the centre (Club Revolution).Baggi got a residency at club revolution for the Friday night and after a while even for the Saturday and Sunday night. Due to these residencies Baggi got totally adapted to playing long sets (6 to 8 hours).
Baggi´s role models when it concerns productions are DJ Gregory, Todd Terry, Masters @ Work, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez. His role models for dj´s are Deep Dish, Erick E, Bob Sinclair, Danny Tanaglia. The music Baggi plays can be characterized as a mix of grooves, tribal, deep, tech and uplifting club house. This along with his skill full mixing techniques makes him one of a kind.
In 2002 Baggi started to work at Midtown records in Rotterdam. Due to his work he got to know different club owners and party organizers. He started to get his own connections within the house scene. Due to his network and the way he playes Baggi got to play at spots such as Impulz In and Outdoor, de Loft, the Powerzone, Escape Amsterdam, NOW WOW Rotterdam, Nighttown, Hollywood and many many more. Baggi hopes to come to play at even more places but for this moment he can still be heard every week at club revolution.
