Asle has been a dj since the age of fourteen but spinning records was not really his first musical experience. Being out of a musical family he started playing instruments at an early age, mastering the flute at nine. The flute was later exchanged to the guitar and drums and eventually the instrument of choice, the piano. The latest three or four years Asle has developed his own style: tight, dirty, and pumping house is the closest descriptions in words. His escapes in to the progressive and later on more funky sounds has got him tracks/signings on Hook/UG, Oven Ready, Records, Fluid. Now with a more soulful funky flavor he is remixing and producing tracks on Yoshitoshi, Positiva, Cuba, Whoop, Size, Bigstar, Funktion, Nebula and more, not to mention massive support by the likes of Sasha, Pete Tong, Nick Warren, Steve Lawler, Darren Emerson, Seb Fontaine, Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez, Sander Kleinenberg, John Digweed, Deep Dish, Groove Armada, Paul Van Dyk, to mention a few. As a remixer Asle is taking more and new ground as each day go by. Hes 2001 remix of Funky Green Dogs Burning Up reached #1 on Bilboards Dance Chart and his mix featured on the FGDs album Super California as the first track. He has among others done remixes for Nickelback, Safri Duo, Infernal, Ortz, Blue Foundation, Camille Jones, Swan Lee, Lost Witness, Candi Staton, Tom Novy, Moi Caprice, New Order and more. His 2004 remix of the Danish pop/rock band Swan Lee earned him a Danish Dee Jay Award as Remix of the Year. Presently, Asle is doing well with his Frost project Wait For Me. It is out on Oven Ready right now with remixes by the Max Graham. It spent a few weeks on the Cool Cuts Chart and is supported heavily by guys like Judge Jules and Kiss FM and Narcotic Thrust producer Andy Morris. Wait for me is presently being released on labels all over the world. Also his alter ego Full Blown is doing really well. His re-released 2004 Whoop! record Some Kinda Freak went to No. 1 on the UK Buzz Chart (He most important dance chart in the world).Under his own name Asle is releasing Golden Sun on Danish label Big Star Records. With remixes by Seamus Haji and support Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez and Judge Jules things are building up very nicely for this feel good track. On September 16th 2005 it entered the Buzz Chart at # 6.
