Askery Beatport

Biography

Not many producers can say they saw their debut release plucked from obscurity and named ‘Demo Of The Week’ by the world’s Number 1 DJ. Rising Swiss talent ASKERY can. His first ever foray into the world of official production, ‘Hybrid’ caught the attention of Dutch icon Hardwell, who aired it on his global radio show to huge critical attention, officially signaling ASKERY as a talent to look out for.

Without seeming to take a breath, Askery then followed ‘Hybrid’ with not one, but two massive remixes: NERVO’s ‘Not Taking This No More’ on Dutch imprint Spinnin’ Records and a stunning take on Wilkinsons ‘Too Close’ on major label Virgin EMI/Universal Music.

As fans began to follow the name ASKERY, his next track ‘NaOH’ surged up the Beatport charts to land at #7 on the Progressive House. Supporters of the track have included Nicky Romero, W&W, NERVO, PETE TONG, Martin Garrix, R3hab, Fedde Le Grand, Sick Individuals, MAKJ, Danny Howard, Dzeko, BBC Radio 1, Slam FM and Radio NRJ.

Later in 2014 ‘Bombay’ – a collaboration with GLOWINTHEDARK – further strengthened ASKERY’s position as one of the biggest new talents to come out of Switzerland hitting the top of the Beatport charts once again and seducing the likes of A-list DJs Afrojack, Tommy Trash and many others once again with Dannic even crafting his own mash-up version of the track.

Following up with THE ultimate banger everyone has been waiting for it’s the turn of Gregori Klosman (remixer for David Guetta, Lady Gaga and Avicii) to join ASKERY in a collaboration that’s making dancefloors across the world go crazy! Already snatched up by Axwell-ingrosso/">Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Harwell, Nicky Romero & Martin Garrix ‘Control’ – that’s the name of this bomb – looks like it could make it into the top of the charts yet again making it three in a row for ASKERY this year!

Teaming up with renowned booking agent IMD, fans of the Swiss talent will also be able to catch him increasingly on the road as he takes his brand of electronic wizardry the length and breadth of the planet. January 2015 will see his first India Tour.

January 2015 will also see the release of his very first vocal track featuring #1 Billboard artist Laurell with ‘Float Alone’ through Armada Music.
