Andy Morris was born in the southern Australian desert and grew up in Sydney, getting his first DJing experience playing for student crowds to pay his rent. When he moved to London in 1991, his career really took off. Writing for DJ magazine and working around the capital in clubs like Kinky Overdose and Café De Paris, Andy earned himself a reputation for playing a fusion of tough and funky house – it won him residences at Club UK, The Leisure Lounge and more recently Mezzanine in Wolverhampton. As well as playing many of the UK’ leading clubs and larger events, Andy also produces under the name Firewall with partners BBG, and recently releasing “Get The Party Started Right” through Pepper records. Andy also records as Narcotic Thrust – he released the successful track “Funky Acid Baby” under this name. New dancefloor killer “Safe From Harm” was a Miami 2002 hit and was co-penned by the Kylie’ song writer. The charts better watch out.
