Allan Gallego became involved with electronic music in the mid 2000s in Colombia. When its’ techno scene started to evolve, it gave him the chance to play different venues in the city of Cali, helping him to shape his characteristic, raw techno sound. Deciding to take a step forward, he moved to Miami, FL and found himself immersed in the local scene.
In 2010, Allan started Owl’s Dance, a podcast showcasing Miami’s darker side and featuring local artists at events sponsored by Owl’s Dance during Winter Music Conference. He soon found his first USA club residency at Club Space Miami where he gained recognition for sharing the Techno Loft’s booth with artists like Marcel Dettmann, Gregor Threshor, Matador, Hobo, Martinez, Dan Ghenacia, Billy Johnston, and many more.
Allan has since returned to Colombia on tour and made his debut at the Korsakoff Club and Club Up during Amsterdam Dance Event in 2012. In early 2014 he released his first EP under Typ3 Records, a Miami/San Francisco based label. The release was composed of two originals plus a collaboration track with label heads SpinnZinn and Luke Hunter. Since, he has released a remix of Billy Johnston’s track “Klopfer” under Black Nation Records out of Detroit.Allan is currently partnered with Blow Up events at Treehouse Miami. Expect to see new collaborations and originals to be released soon!
