Growing up in Los Angeles, Adrienne Sanchez danced around her room to Prince and Michael Jackson. When she was a bit older she danced around warehouses listening to Doc Martin and Steve Loria. Deeply in love with house music and knowing she could be more than just a disco queen, Adrienne began collecting records. By 1997 it was time for her to start playing out. Since then Adrienne has played alongside the broad talents of Roy Davis Jr., DJ Pierre, and Mark Farina. Her signature style of bootie shaking cuts mixed with tight technique quickly made her a local hero. Holding down residencies at home and in Canada, Adrienne has graced the decks in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Miami, and Mexico. Two highlights in Adrienne’s career stand out as turning points. Playing live at the Sunset Junction Festival on the same bill as Chaka Khan as well as rocking a guest spot on MTV Canada. She knew it was time for her to make a move. Adrienne landed a flight to Chicago to play at the House of Blues Hotel. Five days and four gigs later she knew what she had to do. Within two months of her first trip to the mecca of house music she had an apartment on the Northside. Now living in Chicago, Adrienne has been working on original production and gigging around the city. A former house snob, she has expanded her sets to include, electro, breaks, techno, funk, and obscure disco. If you ask Miss Sanchez what she plays her likely response will be ’’-different flavors, all of them funky." Adrienne is looking forward to the WMC, releasing a new CD, traveling, and of course, dancing around her room.

In the fall of 2004 Adrienne Sanchez was chosen by Revolutionary Music to be a resident DJ of the Safe House and to represent the organization around the world. We stand behind her as one of the world’s finest house DJs. She transforms the room from her very first blend and after her last record, the crowd is invariably worked into frenzy. She doesn’t open for bigger names, she is billed along side them. In many cases, she blows them off the decks. The plans for an Adrienne Sanchez mix compilation are in the works. Adrienne is the flagship house DJ for Revolutionary Music. Get used to her name & book her while you can afford it.
