Adrian has been in involved in music for the past six years: in retail, in journalism, as a promoter and as a DJ.
His first venture into DJing came in 1996 when he became a regular guest DJ at the defunct Industria Bar in Makati as his brother Elbert and Robert Villaluz (another DJ) managed the music at the said bar. He also became a regular guest DJ at the legendary Insomnia in Malate, one of the first establishments to champion house music in the Philippines.
In 1998, Adrian took a job at Tower Records as the buyer for the Dance section. He eventually became the General Manager of the Makati branch, the biggest record store in the country.
Around this time, he got involved in the running of NBK (Natural Born Klubbers). He wrote numerous press releases and was very much involved in the creativity of their flyers and the Logistics of their events. As an NBK DJ, he became a resident at some of the most popular bars and clubs in the country; Wherelse, Seveneightorange and Pravda. The highlight of his DJ career came at 2000, as he played an opening set for one of his heroes, John Digweed.
By 2002, Adrian became the resident DJ for Flute wine bar, first for their chill out nights on Thursdays and then for their house nights on Saturdays.
Adrian eventually left NBK and formed his own DJ management and promotions group, Conspiracy Management which had in itâs roster other well known Filipino DJs such as Kevin Ruiz and Roman Mojica.
By 2003, He compiled a CD with another DJ, Wendell Garcia, called the Blue Room Twilight, a collection of chill out and chill house tracks which was released by EMI Philippines.
