W&W are on an express-train journey to the top of trancedom. They've been lauded as "the future of trance" by Armin van Buuren (ARMIN VAN BUUREN), they recently signed up with Armada Music's management arm, their track Invasion was the theme song of the ASOT 550 tour, and they somehow still manage to put out amazing episodes of their Mainstage podcast weekly. If you ask me, these guys aren't stopping 'til they hit #1.
The Dutch duo's new track, Shotgun, marks release 001 of their newly launched label, also named Mainstage. Rattling electro sub-bass and high hoover squeals at the beginning of the track let you know you're in for a face-smasher of a track, but don't stick around for too long before W&W's characteristic techy synths take over and lead straight into a drop with a ferocious tribal thud. I hope I don't say this every time, but Shotgun is probably my favorite W&W track in recent memory.
