If you haven't already fallen in love with TCHAMI's Confession Label, well we aren't sure what else we can do to convince you except continue to show you the fire tracks they have been busting out over the last month. MALAA comes out with his highly anticipated 'Illegal' mixtape which has tracks from over 10 artists worth checking out individually. Malaa has released two singles earlier this year, even when we are only four months deep into the year, and this mixtape was sure to not disappoint after his past releases this year. While Malaa fans are more used to the styles on 'Bylina' and 'Contagious', the rest of the mixtape has a flare of Malaa even if he isn't on the track. The mixtape was smartly put together to sound like one person produced it all, but also like there is a unique flavor and flare to each individual track, like there is since each track is a different artist.
The most anticipated track on the mix comes from Malaa and GERRY GONZA titled 'React' and it is the song that wraps this whole mix up nicely in a power house of a bow. The rest of the mixtape showcases never before heard tracks from the likes of Jace Mek, Dillon Nathaniel, MAXIMONO, GHOSTEA, Bellecour, DATELESS, FROMDROPTILLDAWN, SKITZOFRENIX and JURGENSEN. If that wasn’t enough, the mixtape comes paired with a masterfully crafted mix of all 12 tracks by Malaa himself, providing an hour of seamlessly blended ‘G-House’ that so many fans have come to know and love.
Just a week after the release of this mixtape, Malaa is embarking on a 6-date tour across East and West Coast to support the Illegal Mixtape. Though it is promoting the mixtape, you can expect to hear an arsenal of new and unreleased music along the tour. Kicking off in Vancouver and ending in Detroit, the short however unique tour will be something you should not miss. Check below if he will be in your city!
