He's just released a mesmerising new track for Armada Music, and 2017 is only just getting started. We chat to DENNIS KRUISSEN about all things music... First things first, how is 2017 going for you so far? I am doing great. Currently busy with working on new originals, travelling for my gigs and setting up a new radio show. When you make music, how do you want people to feel when they hear it? I’m always trying to evoke a certain emotion when producing my music. I’m trying to take my listeners to “another place” when they listen to it. What do you enjoy most about getting creative in the studio? What do you find challenging? I'm always trying to come up with new sounds to keep surprising my fans with the music I release. Your new single “Love Like The Sun” is out now and it’s a stunning track. What inspired you to make something so expressive? We thought it would be very cool to do a collaboration between a singer and songwriter (David Benjamin) and a dance artist (me). As you can probably hear, we’ve blended our styles together in an awesome way in this track. How did you come to working with David Benjamin? I knew David from the television program “Best Singer and Songwriter Of The Netherlands”. Through that, my management were brought in touch. You’re signed with Armada – was that a personal career highlight for you? Definitely one of the highlights; and it has given my career a great boost. What do you want to achieve in the next few months ahead? I’ve been doing a lot of interesting cross-genre collaborations over the past months, and would love to involve these singers in my live shows to create this extra dimension for the audience. Finally, if you could choose one tune to listen to for the rest of time, what would it be and why? Probably “Wish You Where Here” by Pink Floyd... I have listened to this track too many times to count.
