It's always very exciting to experience a brand new festival for the first time. THis year we got a chance to check out Chris Hardwick's debut musical festival and comic conival called ID10T. More specifically, we spent a lot of our time at the Mad Decent tent which had top tier talent such as MADEON, PARTY FAVOR, ZEDS DEAD, and more.
This was definitely not your typical festival. It combined a diverse group of cosplay fans and festivalgoers alike, who sported unique outfits resembling their favorite comic superheros or just snazzy festival wear. The two day event featured comic vendors, displays, artist signings, artist alley and more. It also felt like a flea market with all the vendors on site which provided amazing options for attendees. Not to mention there was even a Power Ranger laser tag arena.
“ID10T Festival was an out of this world, incredible experience and I want to personally thank each and everyone of you that came out and joined us this past weekend,” said Chris Hardwick. “Whether you were there for music, comedy, panels, artists or just to get the dust off your cosplay, you helped make ID10T more than just a festival—you made it a community. I was blown away by how much joy resonated from every section of the Shoreline grounds and can’t wait to do it again next year!” ― Chris Hardwick
In's very inspiring to see the comic scene pick up on the festival hype especially during the summer and we are so proud that a solid record label such as Mad Decent was selected to showcase their best artists and music. The visuals and production that was at the stage was immersive and complemented each act very well ranging from melodic feel good vibes from JAI WOLF to bass heavy beats from Party Favor. Hopefully we will see a return next year with something even more unique from Chris Hardwick!
