Miami Fire Rescue crews are on the scene at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami after a stage reportedly collapsed.
The collapse occurred while crews were setting up for the Ultra Music Festival taking place for two weekends beginning Friday.
Miami Fire Lt. Ignatius Carroll could not confirm how many people were injured or their conditions. Lt. Carroll told CBS4 News that some people were trapped in the stage collapse, and rescuers are taking victims to Ryder Trauma Center.
The incident, which took place during a sound check, sent at least three men to the hospital, two of whom are listed in critical condition.
Among the victims is a 32-year-old stage hand who suffered injuries to both knees, ankles and hip, as well as lacerations on his wrist. Miami Fire Rescue units treated another worker at the scene.
The cause of the stage collapse is unknown at this time.
Ultra Music Festival is still set to kick off this Friday and will take place over the next two weekends.
