From Coachella to Outsidelands to EDC, Summer means festival season for music fans, especially for dance enthusiasts. With it coming to a close as Fall looms on the horizon, Hawaii’s “Endless Summer” will provide the backdrop for the largest dance event in the aptly nicknamed 808 State and a sendoff to what was a banner season for the festival circuit; Go Ventures and OOSpot present the 16th Annual Love Festival, taking place at Kaka’ako Waterfront Park in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Saturday September 27, 2014 from 7pm to 2am.
As one of the longest running dance music events in the country, the Love Festival has hosted national and international acts in cities including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Honolulu. The latter has seen headliners throughout the years including FLOSSTRADAMUS, KASKADE, and DIPLO, to name a few. This year BAAUER and BASSJACKERS take Love Fest Hawaii’s main stage to perform in front of thousands of dance fans (residents and visitors alike) alongside a lineup of national and local acts including EDDIE AMADOR, DJ REZA, G-SPOT, Bakman, and DJ KAM - with more performers to be announced.

Baauer Brings the Bass
Making music since the age of 13, New York-based Dubstep and Trap DJ/producer Baauer has made remixes for artists including NERO, No Doubt, and The PRODIGY. He would later be signed to UK-based independent label LuckyMe. But it wasn’t until the release of his debut single “Harlem Shake” on May 22, 2012, under Diplo’s label Mad Decent did he achieve seemingly overnight success. The song would spawn an Internet viral sensation into the following year and would change how Billboard aggregated their charts, taking online video views (primarily from YouTube) into consideration. Since then, Baauer has kept himself busy, being featured on K-Pop artist G-Dragon’s single “Coup D’Etat” and releasing new singles including “Higher” and “Infinite Daps”.
Bassjackers Rock the House
Formed in 2007 by Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst, Bassjackers would make a name for themselves in House music. 2011 saw the release of “Mush Mush”, which was later picked up by TIESTO and released on his imprint Musical Freedom. It eventually hit the Beatport Top 10 to become one of the biggest festival tracks for that year. Following the success of “Mush Mush”, Bassjackers would continue to fill their heavy schedule - either in the studio remixing for artists such as Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, and Moby; or on the stage playing in clubs from Europe to North America alongside Tiesto, AFROJACK, and BINGO PLAYERS. 2013 and 2014 saw the Bassjackers score more hits on Beatport including “Hey!” - a collaboration with SHOWTEK, and “Crackin’” - another collaboration, this time with MARTIN GARRIX.
