At the mere age of twenty-three, Jackal, also known as Mikey Pennington has proven to be a young powerhouse within the world of electronic dance music. There is no doubt that Jackal was destined for musical greatness – he has known how to play the guitar and make beats since he was straight-up seven years old. Since the release of his track “Shakedown”, his sweet blends of electro, house, and trap have found their way into the sets of artists such as Skrillex and Diplo. With his most recent release “Feel It”, off of his brand new EP, you can get an idea of just how amazing Jackal’s set will be at his Endorphins release party.
Y2K, also known as Ari Starace, is one of those artists that is sure to blow you away with his unique sets, making you want to follow him on Soundcloud immediately. Y2K’s music continuously pushes the envelope of dance music, as he draws on insane amounts of R&B, 2000s pop, and 80’s new wave to add new elements to his music. Y2K has remixed just about every hip hop song known to man, so his set with whereisalex is sure to be a treat.
whereisalex is as elusive and mysterious as his name and location implies. While you might not know much about the man himself, he has an infinite number of tracks on his Soundcloud and a newly released EP, Separate, to give you a sneak peek into just what kinds of sets this man can deliver. With only one other show lined up in the next couple months, you’ll want to catch whereisalex at AVALON before he disappears into nowhere.
Ameria is a force to be reckoned with, as she’s become one of the highest demand EDM vocal acts in the industry. Following her first single “HEAR THE SUN”, Ameria has continued to forge a path of success for herself, nabbing a deal with Sony and M-ton. Before becoming an international act, Ameria first was a staple at all of the hottest nightclubs in Hollywood. Ameria truly does it all, as she packs her songs with shimmering soulful melodies that show off her rusty low range and high falsetto, sitting on a “heavy” trap beat produced by Ameria herself.
With four undeniably amazing and diverse acts ready to rock the night away with unreal amounts of bass and trap, the atmosphere at the AVALON is going to be one for the books.
