After Berlin, SWEAT is now looking at Paris and invited the master of all things soulful and house to burn the dancefloor and bring the heat in Dalston Superstore laser basement: Nick V!
The Mona Paris’s resident and his team took upon themselves to put dancing back at the center of the night club experience. Your mission should you decide to accept it, beautiful sweaters, will be to prove him London knows how to dance too!
Nick V will be spinning underground House and Disco in the basement for you to throw shapes under the lasers. It is a French affair this time around as our resident, Pavliné, will be on warm-up duties.
Upstairs sees a return to the tropics, like with every SWEAT with Tafkanik the sexy moustachioed behind the success of Homostash. He will be joined by two Superstore regulars: the fabulous iona from Suspiciously Delicious and one who knows how to rock this floor better than anyone: NIC FISHER. He will end up the night with his usual disco flamboyance!

NICK V (Mona Paris)
Nick’s Mancunian origins combined to a Paris based b-boy and funk background have provided him with a rare blend of music tastes. His dynamic yet smooth mixing skills, honed over the years have established Nick as one of the hottest djs in the French capital, a reputation he has maintained over the years since his first gigs in the mid 90s as warm up DJ at the infamous Queen Club in Paris. A reputed record collector and vinyl digger, he is an all-vinyl DJ who prides himself in a relatively tight record collection of under 7000 pieces collected since 1983.
Today you can catch him every second Saturday of the month at his 8 year old Parisian residency, Mona, where he spins underground House and Disco alongside the guests he chooses such as Mike Huckaby, Red Greg, Brawther, Jeremy Underground, Daniel Wang, Chez Damier, DJ Nature, Volcov, DJ Deep, Prosumer, Atjazz or Karizma. Close to the Paris dance scene, Nick encourages his crowds to connect and share the positive energy of dance via free classes or Vogue balls given at the start of his nights.
PAVLINÉ (SWEAT – Dance Party)
Pavliné started DJing music at various venues in Berlin alongside Eli Escobar, Matthew Styles or Discodromo. After moving from Berlin to London, Pavliné has played regular gigs at Dalston Superstore, Egg and various East London venues. He created and is the main resident of SWEAT.
NIC FISHER ( GutterSlut / Dalston Superstore)
DJ/Promoter Nic Fisher has been an integral part of the London music scene for over a decade. He has played to packed dance floors at Wet Yourself, Trailer Trash, Fabric and the infamous Trade 18th Birthday, but more recently in New York, Sysiphos in Berlin, UnderBorn in Stockholm and at festivals such as Glastonbury, Lovebox and Bestival. Nic has played alongside Tiga, Dj Hell, Ivan Smagghe, James Murphy and Arnaud Rebotini.
In 2007 Nic co-founded GutterSlut, an anything goes celebration in an East London Strip Club. A niche was quickly filled – a party which perfectly served up banging electro-tech on one floor and roof raising disco on another.
IONA (Suspiciously Delicious)
One-third of London-to-Lisbon party project/Radio Quantica show Suspiciously Delicious with Violet and Elles. After faithfully manning the door at Dance Tunnel, she hopped on the decks for the final farewell throwdown and has since enjoyed playing guest slots on NTS Radio, Balamii and Radar, and live in the flesh sets in cool places like Damas (Lisbon), Rye Wax, Number 90, Dalston Superstore, The Yard, 177, the London Loft Party and Bestival.
Founder and resident at Homostash. he has made his way into the hotspot by performing at Glastonbury as well as a variety of London clubs such as Egg London , East Bloc, Vogue Fabrics, Rolling Stock, Resistance Gallery and The Shed. Regular at Le Coq, his distinctive sound is influenced by tech house, techno, IDM and italo-disco. Tafkanik also performed in Brazil, Spain and Austria as well as appeared on TV shows in Poland, Ukraine and Greece.
