Patrick Topping B2B Skream
Agents Of Time (live)
Returning to Room One this May 5th are two of today’s most prolific DJs as Patrick Topping and Skream land for a special extended back-to-back set. Known for his use of addictive house hooks and bass lines, over the last 2 years Topping has taken his sound from intimate UK clubs to dance floors across the world. One of the key signings to the defining Hot Creations imprint, since starting his career as a Newcastle club promoter Topping has become one of the label’s most recognisable and best-loved artists. He steps into the booth alongside Oliver Jones, the artist better known as Skream. Hailing from Croydon alongside other musical peers, in the early 2000s Jones was regarded a visionary as one of the dubstep sound’s most iconic artists. He’s since spent his time working in other genres, today finding himself more than accomplished in the house and techno sphere. With a career spanning across the spectrum in electronic music, Skream has consistently proven himself to be a leader in the field. The Room One bill is rounded off with our esteemed resident Terry Francis bringing his characteristically punchy technoid-house selections.
Over in Room Two B.Traits brings In Toto to Farringdon. Recognised as a tastemaker on one of the UK’s most respected radio stations Radio One, outside of her regular slot Brianna Price consistently pushes her eclectic tastes in four four music across some of the world’s best clubs. She invites Agents of Time to bring their enigmatic live show, while EC1 regular and master in broad-ranging techno Cosmin TRG lands. Cosmin’s Room Two sets have consistently become some of the most memorable we’ve hosted. B.Traits rounds off In Toto with Fold, the rising London-based talent closely affiliated with some of the key players in the UK’s house and garage-fused sound.
