Born On 17.03.1988 “In Croatia Osijek coming from a musical background of family.
From the age of 3 I had always been fascinated by the sound of dance music
I could remember 1 clip in particular seeing on TV as a child” The final countdown by Europe
It seems it was funkier then ordinary rock like it had dance elements present in it.
It seemed til the age of 9 I didn’t have much interest in music what so ever I used to enjoy the techno midis in games they seemed to be more techno then anything. But it wasn’t until I saw movies such as “Mortal Combat” featuring scooters track mortal combat I had adapted
To electronic style music more then anything it seemed the music itself was out of this world
I had only 1 word to summon it all up “COOL”.
Over the years more artists such as Alice deejay
Sash DJ Sakin DJ Mystic Cosmic gate Ian Van Dahl were on the rise electronic dance music had started to grow
I had always enjoyed being a listener never really though id is getting into my very own sound font.
Until 2005 I had gotten a copy of Virtual DJ I started to mix out 30 min sets to 45 minutes giving them out
To friends getting their feedback or just to enjoy listening.
2006 I started to use proper gear such as pioneer & numark it was really fun & interesting
Getting a feel for real physical ware I had thrown a lot of parties during 2006 friends & on call.
2007 wasn’t really a productive year for me. Since my computer had died & I was saving up for a new for a new 1.
But it wasn’t until the big 08 had arrived I wanted to make my
Own sound fonts, I had gotten a first sequencer & with inbuilt synthesis & came with toon’s of loops
So I started to experiment & made my first track called Commencing 2008 it wasn’t anything over the
Chain but I was very pleased with my first productive sounds it seemed I was lacking some mastering
Techniques I only knew of treble bass EQ cross fade what was cut off or oscillator or gate?
2009 I had gotten better making tracks like Valid til Next Year & Path of Submission
I had meet a DJ who was in the UK Ben Fellows (DJ Peri feral) I had send him some demo’s
& he signed 2 of my tracks I seemed so wrapped I couldn’t believe it I had my first works signed
It seemed like I was out there for the very first time my work getting played on radio & online for purchase
The Idea behind the Name…
Well The Idea behind DJ ZOS Name I had a lot of nicknames during school I won’t be mentioning any loll
I guess I wanted something unique once again & at least to be able to relate to
ZOS seemed to be perfect & I liked the name more then anything & being into
My electronic sound the DJ Soon followed The ZOS.
The Trance Sound
The Idea behind My Sound Follows an Uplifting Sort Of Sound font & Hard Dance Styles such as Dark by Design, Vanda l, etc
But again my approach on the sound itself is “If it sounds good use it” I mean just because its trance I’m not going to limit myself
