YAP Biography
Born May 5, 1981 and raised in the city of Manila, Philippines. This Music junkie had a keen love and knack for the world of Dance, electronica music. At an early age of 13 he started to love and listen to Plastic dreams as well as loving movies that had electro music in them such as the movie Hackers (1992), which featured artists such as Chicane Underworld among others. Even before that he stated that he loved music so much and as a young kid loved listening to DMC contests and mixes, and would use his home “karaoke” machine to mix different tunes. His fascination for house was introduced by his brother during early 90’s. During this primo age he started collecting and listening to the beats of global u thru pre recorded cassettes. He later got into the feel of clubbing and got involved in the lifestyle of clubbing early in the incoming millennium. He started mixing thru his laptop using traktor v1 which was introduced by good friend Neal lim and later got into mixing and burning his own creative style of different genres. When asked who his favorite dj to date is, he said Satoshie t. (NUBREED) with his dark and soulful beats. He later met the man who would change the way he saw and defined music, Dj S tambunting. He got into mixing hands on, not just on his computer and was introduced to performing different styles and genres, breakbeats house and techno. Up to date he owes his god given talent and know how to this man and wishes that he could tell his story through his expression of sound and creativity. He said he has much more to learn and is willing to further enhance his craft to further develop and progress no matter how long it takes.
