ULTRAPHONIC Biography
Vladimir Vranjkovic aka DJ Ultraphonic, was born in 1979. in Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Since he was five years old he has shown interests for music and at age of twelve he joins a school orchestra. Two years later he moves to Novi Sad and with a little help of a friend he learns to play the guitar. That same year he enrolls secondary school for computer science and starts showing interest in electronic music. As a DJ, he makes his first appearance in 1996. playing a tape recorder. IN radio recognized his talent and in a year of 2002. he starts working for them. Thanks to that job and his friend, DJ Fanatik, he becomes a resident DJ in a local club “Zlatni Grad” in Novi Sad. Next three years will be dedicated in finding a hallmark of his own sound under the influence of deep house and electro house. He makes an appearance on “EXIT” festival in 2005. on a crossroad stage for four nights, straight. He was a resident DJ in club “Imperija” in 2006. until he became a resident DJ in club “Garden” in the summer of 2007. That same year he makes appearances in several other clubs such as: “Avantgarde”, “MB Bus”, “Pipping”, “Atrium” and “Cuba Libre”. Later in 2007. he makes two mash-ups of Sebastian Leger’s tunes and acapellas of Kelise and Khia on white labels.** In 2008., so far, he has made a remix for Moving House and their tune “Lettin’ Go”, a mash-up of Daft Punk’s “Burnin’” and “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” using acapella of Laidback Luke’s “Burn The House Down” and last but not the least he made his own tune “Higher Waves”.
